Stephen B. Vardeman is Owner and Principal Statistician of Analytics Iowa LLC. He has over 45 years of experience as a university faculty member, textbook author, researcher, graduate advisor, and consultant. He holds BS (1971) and MS (1973) degrees in mathematics from Iowa State University and a PhD degree (1975) in statistics from Michigan State University. Since May 2021 he has been Emeritus University Professor of Statistics and Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering for Iowa State University.
